What girl doesn't love jewelry?

I had the opportunity to work with two amazingly talented jewelry artists over the past couple of days. Mark and Tina Bennett are the owners of Spencer Lapidary, located in Elwood, Indiana and they hand craft each piece of jewelry in their shop. Each piece is unique and they will work with you to design your own pieces. (***Hint to husbands - this is a fabulous idea for your wife for the holidays***) You can learn more about their business and find all the important contact info at their website http://www.spencerlapidary.com/

And a personal note to all the stunning women that modeled these pieces - each of you were a pleasure to work with. Your cooporation and great spirit made this project an amazing experience. Thank you!!!

And now, without further ado, here's some beautiful jewelry to drool over this afternoon.

"Keep me. Protect me. Share me. And I will live forever."

I guess it goes without saying that I love old pictures. Especially old snapshots. This is one of my favorites of my great grandparents. I love the story this picture tells. The way she's leaning on to him, the way he he's sitting "criss cross applesauce". Knowing that their short lives were filled with a lot of very hard work and eventually eight kids, I imagine that there weren't many lazy afternoon moments like this. I'm glad that someone took the time to pick up a camera and capture this moment so that 60+ years after their deaths, I'm able to look at this picture and share a moment in their lives.

And because it go along so well with this post, I wanted to share my all time favorite commercial. Enjoy!

One . . . Two . . . (Three)

These two were so sweet and such troopers. The day started with yucky grey clouds and rain, and we had to delay the session by a couple of hours, and yet, look how absolutely relaxed and adorable they were. They didn't even mind when I dragged them out to the wet yard in search of light.

So, without further delay, here's a little preview for the "W" family. I hope you love them as much as I do :)
