Oh how I love the internet :) I found this nifty site that you input words in to and it generates a random layout for you. I used it to make a layout about my business but you could also make a great party invite with it or use it to generate some scrapbook journaling.

The Fair
Most of yesterday was a free day for me and since the weather was perfect, we packed up and headed out to the fair. Apparently, so did everyone else in Indiana ;). It wasn't bad though. There's so much to see and do that even when it's crowded, it doesn't seem crowded. We ate, and ate, and ate. Love those elephant ears - every year we get one from the little red barn. I can remember eating their elephant ears when I was little. They're so good, I don't dare try any place else. And of course, we had to buy some taffy. That's another childhood tradition that I'm carrying on. Throw in a lemon shakeup and it was a yummy day. (Has anyone else noticed that they don't make the lemon shakeups with granular sugar anymore? Now it's just a sugar syrup it's just not the same - still good, but not the same *sigh*.)
This year we got lucky and were able to see the draft horse teams (someone correct me if that's not the technical name) entering the ring for their judging. It's humbling to be standing there watching those animals. They're huge! I wanted to snap a picture but I decided to just enjoy the experience of seeing and hearing them pass by.
As we were heading home, it felt like summer was over. Maybe it's the cool(er) weather, or that school starts next week but I can feel it. Fall is lurking around. I'm not sure if I'm ready for it, this summer has been too much fun to give it up just yet . . .

A preview for "K" and family
This is one of those images, one of the ones that as a mom, it makes my heart smile. I opened this file up and knew this would forever be one of my favorites. It's just a moment, a brief second in time. I can look at this and remember when my daughter was this small. And I remember what if felt like to wrap my arms around her tiny body. To hold her close and want to imprint those feelings of love and joy on to my soul forever. To fill her with all the love and confidence that she will need for a lifetime. "K" I hope you love this one as much as I do :)
I'll end on this one, but don't worry "K", there will be lots more to look through :) See you soon!
And on the flip side, here's little miss "P" looking stunning in her "AB/CD" tee and tutu. All smiles and giggles.
I'll end on this one, but don't worry "K", there will be lots more to look through :) See you soon!
